English (Honours) without CUET — but it depends on the university or college.
Central Universities (e.g., Delhi University, BHU.
- You cannot get admission without CUET in these institutions.
2. State Universities and Private Colleges:
Many state universities (like Kolkata University, Osmania University, etc.) and private colleges do not require CUET.
They admit students based on 12th marks or their own entrance exams/interviews.
3. Open/Distance Universities:Universities like IGNOU, U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University, NSOU, Madurai Kamaraj University, etc. offer BA English (Honours/General) in distance mode without CUET.

Yes, the admission for the Additional BA English course at Vardhman mahaveer Open University (VMOU), kota is going on.As per the latest information for january session last date is 30 april whereas for july session it last upto 30 may.So visit official website, stay updated and take your decision accordingly.

Of course, you can go for a Masters of Mass Communication after completing your BA in English literature. The basic eligibility criteria for MMC course are to obtain a bachelor's degree from a recognised university.
