No, Kerala University doesn't offer direct admission to its BA LLB programme. As per official sources, students aspiring to take admission to the BA LLB course must appear for the entrance test, namely KLEE. Moreover, the university also conducts an interview round for further evaluation of the students.

Both Kerala University and the School of Legal Studies are good options to pursue a BA LLB. However, in terms of affordability, Kerala University is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue BA LLB at Kerala University is INR 2.1 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue BA LLB at School of Legal Studies is INR 7.50 lakh.

BA LLB generally has higher competition for admissions as it is offered by top NLUs, private law colleges and prestigious central/state universities, with entrance exams such as AILET, CLAT, and SLAT, having low acceptance rates. On the other hand LLB (3 year course) is mainly available at all the top law universities, which makes the competition even more than BA LLB.
