Hi Subrata, Eligibility criteria: B.A. B.Ed. Course- 10+2 passed in any stream (English subject is compulsory) from a recognised board. Minimum aggregate mark required is generally around 50% (scored in 12th board examination). D.Ed. (Diploma) holders are eligible to secure admission directly in the second academic year of this course. Also check D. El. Ed. Course. All the best.

Since you always wanted to take history, then go for it. And, also you have got good marks in history. Both subjects are good and there is no comparison, so when it comes to choose one always pursue what you like. When you will do what you like, it will no longer be a burden but fun. Hello Prakash, It's very heartening to know that you desire to do BA through distance education. Congratulations for setting the aim. Now, you must work to achieve this. I would advise you to download the brochure cum application form of IGNOU. Go through this and then decide in which subject you want to do BA.

BA Economics if opted from a good college like St. Xavier's College-Mumbai or some DU college has much wider scope than BA. But if you did not get in top colleges then it is advisable to do BBA since it is a technical and professional course and has a higher value of its degree than any of the low BA colleges.
