Steps –
1. First decide which field interests you the most.
2. If you need growth then the decision will be different. So give priority to whether it will be passion or future. In both the fields you have good opportunities but you have to be the best in that field. As per my advice, go for IT field as it is a better option.

There are enough hostel rooms in JNU. But there is no reservation based on course you are doing. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about rules of admission.

It's very nice to see your enthusiasm for studies. Just do not worry. You have to clear BA and this is good enough for starting BA from an open university like IGNOU.

We accepted applications from graduates of any statutory university with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) at graduation level. You also have to apply for the SNAP test to be eligible for admission. If you are an international student, you can visit our website and check the section for International students for more information.

It's very nice to see your dream of becoming MBA. You have already won half the battle. You can select any of the routes. What is tested in the entrance to MBA is your ability to logical thinking and grasping powers. I would, therefore, advise you to select that subject which fascinates you or interests you.

What happened? Why do you want to shift to BA. Normally speaking, the eligibility for seeking admission in BA is class 12th. Thus if you have done Diploma after 12th then there is no issue, otherwise, you will face problem.
