LPU is one of the best universities in the country with world class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty from IITs, IIITs, NITs, etc. The university is having tie ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. Big companies come for recruitment purpose. Most of the students are placed in good companies with high package. Yes, you will get an NIT. A friend of mine has a rank of 7300 and got Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. His category was OBC. I think you will get the top colleges of architecture.

If you passed JEE Mains paper 1, then you are eligible for AAT, otherwise you can't give the AAT and you will get NIT college or any other private college if you want.

You need to qualify JEE Mains and then Advanced. On the result day of Advanced and I guess till one or two day later you can fill AAT. Upon qualifying AAT, you will be allotted college in B.Arch of IIT KGP & Roorkee on the basis of JEE Advanced rank.
