Unfortunately, you can't. National Institute of Technology accepts only JEE Mains paper 2 rank to admit students in B.Arch. IITs accept NATA score. However, there are some other colleges which accept NATA score.

True that even with self-study, you can achieve anything. In this case, clear the JEE Mains, but that doesn't mean it is the easier of the two alternatives. Coaching makes life easier for its students, and contrary to the popular opinion it does not have to be a nightmarish experience. And it will definitely improve your rank.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) is a five years undergraduate program which can be started after 10+2 with minimum 50% marks. This course is designed to produce licensed and professional architects who are authorized to do private constructions and government constructions.
Average fees for this course in government colleges ranges from Rs. 1.5 Lakhs to 2.5 Lakhs and in private institutes it ranges from approx. Rs. 2.5 Lakhs to 5 Lakhs. Eligibility Criteria for Graduate Course (Bachelor of Architecture-B.Arch) are:
Most of the architecture colleges in India offer education in architecture at the undergraduate level and students with mathematics at +2 level are preferred. Duration of the graduate course is 5-years.
1) Minimum 50% marks (45% aggregate for reserved category) in 10+2 examination or equivalent with mathematics as subjects, or
2) 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/ State Governments with 50% aggregate marks, or
