Both the courses you have mentioned have a lot of potential in their own ways. B.Plan is more towards city planning and infrastructure management of a city and architecture is more towards designing buildings and neighborhood's, so scales of both the professions vary a lot. Your choice of course depends on you and your choice i.e which course are you looking forward to.

B.Arch is a premium course and very less number of colleges in India have Architecture, ofcourse B.Arch admission is very competitive when compared to B.Tech only because of the opportunities one has after they pass B.Arch
