The B.Com. (Hons) course is usually designed at Delhi University's School of Open Learning (DU SOL) under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS). Here, credit hours vary between 20-24 credits per semester that are again divided into core, electives, and ability-enhancement courses. The above-mentioned numbers may go a little above the stated line, as these depend upon the subject opted for. For the most accurate information, refer to the latest academic curriculum available on the DU SOL official website or contact their academic office directly.

Candidates can opt for two different kinds of BCom courses, that is BCom General, commonly referred to as BCom regular and BCom Honours from Sanskriti University. The difference between BCom (Hons.) and regular BCom course is mentioned below:

BCom Honours is a specialised course whereas BCom regular covers all fields under the Commerce stream. The regular course provides an overview of all subjects under the course curriculum. However, admission to both courses is based on Class 12 merit. However, the BCom (Hons) cutoff is slightly higher than the BCom regular cutoff.
