B.Com Scope

Dear Hazik,
Choice out of these two courses after B.Com solely depends on your interest that if you want to master in your specialization you can go for M.Com or if you want to enter in manegerial sector you can go for MBA. However my suggestion would be MBA as it would give you more opportunitiesto grab than M.Com. For MBA the selection of university matters so check for the placement records and rankings before admission. Suggested universities -

Please think of doing CA. It has a great career prospectus currently as well in future also as compared to CS.

After Bcom you gave many specialised master program which will make you employable. See few courses in your stream
MSc. Corporate Finance
MSc. International Banking and finance
MSc. Financial Services
MSc. Finance and Accounting
MSc. Risk Management
MSc. Forensic Accounting

If you like company law then you can go for company secretary which is professional course
there is also mba in corporate law

Eligibility criterion for MSc Statistics is BSc Statistics or BSc Maths. Therefore you are not eligible for MSc Statistics course.

There is nothing like you can't take admission after 2 years gap, you just need to submit a gap certificate of whatever you have done in these 2 years. All the top B schools take admission after gap and you can even go for CAT. However if you go for MBA, some suggestions for you

There are 3 levels foundation executive and professional
After Bcom you can join executive level

You have following choices: (a) Job in government or private sector (b) Higher education MCom MBA MCA etc (c) CA or CS or other accounting qualification (d) Online Financial services certifications (e) IT specialist courses such as SAP etc (f) BEd to become teacher etc.

You can definitely pursue a degree or a pg diploma in mass communication after b.com.
as the minimum requirement of a bachelors degree in any disciple is a must, although a bachelor in Journalism/media studies is preferred and considered an added advantage. Leading colleges across the country give preference to students with experience. (Internships count too).
