MIT Institute of Design offers three three-year BDes programme under eleven specialisation. Candidates who have passed class 12th from any stream (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB) are eligible for the BDes programme. Further, candidates are required to go through the two-phase admission procedure. The first phase is to pass the Institute-based entrance test i.e. MIT DAT (MIT Design Aptitude Test). The second phase revolves around personal interviews and studio tests.

The minimum eligibility for getting into NIFT is class 12 with a minimum percentage and selection will be based on the entrance exam. The applicants will be shortlisted for further proceeding of admission on the basis of marks secured in the NIFT Exam i.e., CAT and GAT.
