According to overall NIRF report 2024 released, the median package offered during UG 5-year placements 2023 stood at INR 4.8 LPA. Further, a total of 70 students were placed out of 88 students during Faculty of Architecture and Design, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies placements 2023

At the UG level, Delhi Technological University also offers a four-year BDes programme in Design. Interested candidates can apply online on the official admission portal of DTU. Admisison to BDes is subject to a valid score in the UCEED. Followed by the UCEED exam, the institute releases merit lists with the names of the shortlisted candidates. More details about the DTU BDes course are as follows:

Eligibility: Twelve years of school education with Science/ Commerce/ Arts or a three-year Diploma recognised by AICTE

The total tuition fee for INIFD Vashi BDes is INR 1.6 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates need to pay course fee at the time of admission to confirm their seat in the institute. Besides, aspirants need to pay an application fee in the start to register for a course.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Des programme offered by the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) first needs to appear in the SEED 2026 written exam. Shortlisted candidates have to next appear in a PRPI round. The final merit list for admission to SID will be prepared based on the cumulative performance of the candidate in Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design (SEED), Portfolio Review, PRPI Task and Personal Interaction.

Note that if the candidate doesn't participate in the PRPI round, he or she will not be considered for admission. The allotment of seats to the B.Des programme will be based on the merit rank of the candidate.

The Bachelor of Design programme at Chitkara University is an intense, four-year endeavor that sharpens students’ ability to conceptualize, research, plan, design, and detail the reinvention of all kinds of interior spaces, including small, nuclear family homes, public establishments, commercial entities, recreational venues, healthcare facilities and cultural institutions. The total fees of Bachelor of Design programme at Chitkara university is 7.60 Lacs and Average Salary of B.Des student is 8 Lacs annually. 

Candidates need to complete Class 12 to apply for BDes course at NIF Global, Dehradun. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification. Besides, the selection criteria for the course are merit-based. However, students who have not completed Class 12 are not eligible for BDes course admission.

The B.Des programme has an intake capacity of 180 seats (Indian nationals only). In addition, there are 27 seats reserved for international students. The candidate may note that the seat intake is however subject to approval from SIU. There is also reservation of seats for SC, ST, and Differently Abled candidates.

The B.Des programme is available in four specialisations - Communication Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, and Fashion Communication.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) offers a Bachelor of Design (B. Des) of four years duration. Admission to the course is conducted through the SEED entrance exam and PRPI rounds. The fee structure for the B.Des programme is given in the table below.

Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture which is a part of Chitkara university does not provide scholarships to their student. But they helps in finding scholarships to you according to your financial conditions. We all know that the central government and the state government provide scholarships to financially weaker sections. Some scholarships for under graduate students are Central Sector Scholarship scheme (An annual scholarship amount of INR 10,000 for 1st three years of graduation) and AICTE Pragati Scholarship (This scholarship is for students who are studying at Diploma and undergraduate levels) etc.
