The BDes course duration at NIF Global, South Mumbai is two years. However, to enrol for BDes course, students must meet the last educational qualification set by the college. Students should complete Class 12 with a 40% aggregate. Candidates who have not completed Class 12 with 40% aggregate are not eligible for BDes course admission at NIF Global, South Mumbai.

The design college offers a four-year BDes in two specialisations: Fashion Design and Interior Design. Both the courses are offered in a full-time mode. Ellen College of Design has a total of 60 seats for the BDes courses. There are 30 seats in each for each of the BDes programme. In case there is any revision in the seat intake, then that shall be available on the design college's official website/ notice board.
