Seat intake for academic programs varies from year to year, and schools may update such information on their official website or in entrance brochures.

 

The selection process for B.Des at ImaginXP is as listed below : 

1. Admission to all courses provided by the institute is based on merit and seat availability.

2. Shortlisted candidates are next invited to a Personal Interview (PI) phase, which includes general aptitude questions.

To be eligible for admission to any UG courses, candidates must have completed Class 12 in any stream from a recognised board with a 50% aggregate.

Approximately 100 students per batch will be admitted to B.Des programmes across all specialisations.It's less evident what specific B.Des specializations—like fashion design, interior design, or animation and visual effects—entail. No particular seat number for each programme is mentioned on the official website. For every B.Des course, there are between 20 to 30 seats available.

At ITM Institute of Design and Media, Andheri West, the B.Des selection process consists of several stages that are intended to evaluate your chances of succeeding in the course. Writing the CIT entrance exam is the first step in the process. In multiple exam centres around India, it is administered by ITM-IDM.  ITM Institute of Design and Media's (ITM IDM) placement reports and student testimonials, the placements for B.Des programme at their Andheri West campus seem quite decent:

• 80%+ overall placement record for the past 3 graduating batches.

• Top recruiters include companies like DLF Brands, Reliance Brands, IBM, Tata Elxsi, L&T Ecc, Raymond, Decathlon, Asian Paints etc.

As per the latest admission notification published on the ITM Institute of Design and Media's (ITM IDM) website, below are the key cutoff criteria for admission to B.Des programme at their Andheri West campus:

1. Entrance Exam Cutoff
- ITM-IDM DAT - General Category: 50 Percentile
- ITM-IDM DAT - Reserved Category: 45 Percentile  

2. 12th Boards Cutoff
- General Category: 60% aggregate
- Reserved Category: 55% aggregate

3. Portfolio Review Round
- Qualifying cutoff - 60% (General); 55% (Reserved)

4. Interview Rounds
- Based on composite score across portfolio, entrance and academics

Yes, with an 88% score in the ITM-IDM Design Aptitude Test (DAT), your chances of getting admission into the B.Des programme at ITM Institute of Design and Media, Andheri West look very good.

As per previous admission trends, a score of over 85+ percentile in the ITM-IDM DAT is considered excellent and generally secures admission, subject to meeting other eligibility criteria.
