There is no mention on the official website regarding an offline mode of admissions for the BDes courses at MPAS. Generally, the admission process at MPAS cannot be completed in offline mode due to registration for the state-level exams, which is only accepted in online mode. Candidates who are interested in offline registrations for the MPAS admissions for BDes are advised to contact the college officials for more information.

The admission fees at MSAP for BDes courses is the same as the payable fees. It is not clear whether the admission fee is the total course fee for the BDes course at MSAP which is INR 7.2 Lacs or the fee for the first instalment which is INR 1.8 lakh. Genrally, the first instalment of tuition fee combined with caution deposit is the admission fee for the BDes course. The caution deposit for BDes admissions at MSAP is INR 10,000.

Candidates who managed to successfully apply for admissions on or before this data are required to appear for the MET exam. Candidates can check the exam timeline for MET 2025 exam on MSAP's official website. Candidates can also find the syllabus for the MET exam there as well.

The MET exam conducted for BDes admissions at MSAP has 2 round. Both rounds of MET are computer-based tests where, the candidates who secure appropriate ranks in both are forwarded to the counseling rounds. During counseling rounds, candidates are alloted their chosen centers and seats into their preffered course. The MET exam follows the same pattern for every course admission.

At MSAP, there is only 1 specialisation of BDes course available at MSAP which is BDes in Interior Design. The BDes in Interior Design is a 4 year course with 8 semesters which is offered in fulltime mode only. The BDes in Interior Design course can be exited at MSAP within 3 years at the option of the students. However, they will be awarded a BA in Interior Design degree upon doing so with no option of taking readmissions into the same BDes course.

The MSAP BDes entrance exam is the Manipal entrance test or MET for short. According to the student reviews, the difficulty of MET exam is on the easy-medium difficulty where it is easier to crack in comparison to state level entrance exams such as JEE or COMEDK. However, the students describe the test to still be tough and cracking it will require proper preparation.
