BDes in Animation and VFX from ITM Institute of Design and Media exposes students to diverse sectors such as films, television, gaming, advertising, OTT platforms, and digital media. 

Students master 35+ AI tools during the course which lands them opportunities in futuristic, rapidly-evolving sectors like AR/ VR, edtech, architecture visualisation, and corporate content creation.

Aspirants must pass Class 12 or equivalent from any stream with at least 50% aggregate or higher score to apply for BDes programme at Strate School of Design. Candidates must have documents proving their eligibility for verification.

Strate School of Design offers four-year full-time BDes programme. Once the foundation year is over, students need to choose a specialisation from below options:

• Product Design
• Transport Design
• Interaction Design

Strate School of Design conducts Strate Admission Test or SAT for admission in BDes programme. However, only passing the test won't guarantee admission. Candidates also need to pass personal interview/ portfolio review round for final selection.

To get a seat in BDes courses of ITM-IDM Mumbai, candidates first need to appear for one of its accepted entrance exams. Once the written exam is over, they will be asked to submit a portfolio and appear in a personal interview round. After that, if the candidate secures an appropriate rank, they will be alloted a seat in the BDes course.

The total seat intake for ITM-IDM Mumbai BDes in Fashion Design course is 40 seats in 2026. This is the same as every other BDes course offered by ITM-IDM Mumbai. Candidates will be alloted these seats based on their result in ITM-IDM entrance exam.
