The annual tuition fees at GTBIT for B.E./B.Tech programs amounts to INR 1,10,000. All B.E./B.Tech candidates must have finished their 10+2 education taking Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as required subjects before GTBIT will consider their applications. Through JELET examination candidates who possess relevant B.Sc. degrees or diplomas have the opportunity to enter the second year of their studies.

For obtaining admission into B.E. / B.Tech courses at Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering (DCE), Chennai, students should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Admission will usually be on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination, while seat reservations are as per government norms for different categories.

The overall fees of the B.Tech courses at Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan College of Engineering and Technology (DSCET), Chennai, is around INR 2,00,000 for the whole course. This is inclusive of tuition, laboratory, library, sports, and other academic-related charges. The fee for lateral entry students is a bit less at INR 1,50,000 for the whole course. 

In order to qualify for B.E. / B.Tech from Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering, applicants are required to pass Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or equivalent with not less than 50% of aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counseling process is used by SKR Engineering College in Chennai to admit students to its B.E./B.Tech programs.  A minimum of 45% in 10+2 Physics, Chemistry, and Math is required for eligibility.  Marks from the qualifying exam are taken into consideration during the merit-based selection process.
