To get admission in the Institute of Science and Technology for B.E/ B.Tech you must appear for its entrance exam after meeting the eligibility criteria ( Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects ) . The most prominent entrance exam for IST is the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination ( WBJEE), whose application window generally starts by January or February of every year.
