I believe you have to have your interest towards coding because that's the only reason you're pursuing your BCA. Without the interest and willingness to code, the BCA degree wouldn't help you that much in your career. The qualities that a candidate can have is to be already aware of programming languages and their logics. If you've already studied programming in your 10+2 then you wouldn't face much difficulties in BCA. It'll be beneficial for you as you'll stay ahead of the competition and will also be able to score good percentage in your early semesters.
