You can go for B.Ed after your B.Tech. Eligibility for B.Ed in most of the top universities is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. Or B.E. With specialisation in Science and Mathematics, rest it may vary with the university you choose. Yes. The minimum qualifications required for entry into B.Ed. course is Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks.

The eligibility criteria to join B.Ed course for Hindi streams are :
1 -Graduate/post graduate degreewith a minimum aggregate of 55 percent marks (40 percent marks in case of SC/ST candidates).
2- Two years of relevant teaching experience from a CBSE/ICSE/NCTE or state board affiliated school/institution or organisation. Age limit:
- For fresher students - 40 Years
-For deputed students - 45 Years.

Criteria for b.ed eligibility in Annamalai University is as follows:
Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.): Eligibility: Candidates should have undergone 10+2+3 (15) or 11+1+3 (15) pattern of study conducted by State Board or CBSE or any other recognized Board of Education. Candidates who have passed 10 and 10+2 standards are also eligible to apply under Open University system.
