Any candidate can pursue the B.Ed course, if he fulfills the following criteria:
The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks.

Eligibility for BA-B.Ed:
10+2 in Arts/ Science or Commerce with 50% (45% for SC/ST/ PWD) from a recognised board.

Eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Ed in Jammu University is that you must have passed minimum three years Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with 50% marks (for General Category) and 45% marks (for Reserved Category). You are not eligible to seek admission in B.Ed at University of Jammu.

Candidate must have passed graduation with 50% marks from a recognized college/ university.
Admission is through counselling based on the rank obtained in B.Ed. JEE examination and also based on marks obtained in graduation.

You must have the following criteria for eligibility-

Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. B.Sc. Degree holders must have studied any two of the following subjects; Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany or Zoology. Or B.A. Degree holders must have studied any one of the following subjects; Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi or Urdu And any one of History, Economics, Geography or Political Science.
