B.Ed Eligibility

Eligibility Criteria for doing B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent
or
Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. Or B.E. With specialisation in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level)
5% relaxation for SC/ ST/ OBC and other categories as applicable. Some institutes conduct entrance exam where as in some institutes You can even apply directly for admission. Eligibility for Admission:-A pass in the graduate degree examination under the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern with main subject in Part III, namely Tamil (BA, B.Lit.), English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry, Bio-chemistry, Environmental Science, Micro-Biology, History and Geography.
Admission will be made after written entrance examination.In accordance with NCTE norms, regular teachers working in primary, middle, secondary and higher secondary schools in Tamil Nadu, recognized by State / Central government, with a minimum of two years teaching experience are only eligible.
