Eligibility:
50% marks in Bachelor's or Master's Degree for General Category and 45% for Reserved Categories.
Besides good academic records, candidates must have:
Studied at least one subject offered in B.Ed course at St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata either at Graduation (with at least 300 marks) or at Post Graduate level.

Eligibility criteria for distance B.Ed in Andhra University:
In-service teacher candidates with a minimum of two years working experience in AP and having passed Bachelors Degree with a minimum of 50% marks from Andhra University or any other university recognized, as equivalent thereto.
The candidate should be qualified in the B.Ed entrance test to be conducted by the School of Distance Education.

Eligibility for Kurukshetra University distance B.Ed:
Bachelor/Master's degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) OR 55% in case of BE/B.Tech (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India.
Trained in-service teachers in elementary education.
Candidates who have completed a NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.

Level-2: For enrolment-on the basis of merit considering the academic performance, performance in the interview and co-curricular excellence.
