As per the eligibility criteria, you need to have a minimum of 50% in your UG. But you can check with the college you wish to apply if they consider this percentage.

Kirti, you have not specified your marks in graduation. If you are not getting a chance in govt.universities don't get disheartened. You can try for admission in private universities like Lovely, Pacific, Shiv Nadar, etc.
These private universities are offering B.Ed. They are reputed universities offering good academic environment along with good placements.

Hi Sreekala,
The minimum eligibility criterion for admission to B. Ed. is that the student must be a graduate in any discipline. The candidate must either have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) or Bachelor in Commerce (B. Com.) from any recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate. So, as per this eligibility criteria, you are qualified to go for B.Ed.

No, B.Tech is not equivalent to B.Ed.
