Placements are not 100% guaranteed, but many reputed TS EdCET colleges conduct campus interviews with private schools, international schools, and coaching academies.

  • Government Teaching Jobs: Require clearing TET, DSC, or other recruitment exams.

  • Private Schools & Institutions: Offer direct recruitment opportunities, especially to B.Ed graduates from well-known colleges.

So while TS EdCET gives you the degree and teaching practice, your career opportunities depend on college reputation, subject specialization, and performance in competitive exams.

No, you must complete a BEd before pursuing an MEd. However, under the NEP 2020 reforms, integrated BEd-MEd programs are being introduced, which combine both degrees in a streamlined format.

Both serve different purposes. BEd is essential for starting a teaching career in schools, whereas MEd is suitable for those who want to move into higher positions such as lecturers, researchers, curriculum developers, or administrators.

Yes, an MEd is a master's degree; the MEd stands for Master of Education and is a postgraduate degree focused on advanced study in the field of education, preparation for roles in educational administration, and pedagogical research.

No, it is not necessary to do a Master of Education (MEd) after a Bachelor of Education (BEd), but it is a common and beneficial path for career advancement in education. A BEd is the foundational qualification for becoming a school teacher, while an MEd is a postgraduate degree that provides specialization, deepens knowledge in educational research, and opens doors to leadership roles such as a Principal or lecturer.
