There are more than 35 B.Ed colleges in Hyderabad. Of these, 20 colleges are private while 7 are owned by the govt. There are 4 colleges that are run by semi-private institutions. The entrance exams through which students are admitted to the BEd colleges in Hyderabad include TSEdCET, MAH CET, CUET-PG, etc.Some of the best BEd colleges in Hyderabad include Osmania University, Maulana Azad National Urdu University, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, English and Foreign Languages University, College of Teachers Education Hyderabad, Institute of Advanced Study in Education, and SRM College of Education, etc.

The seating capacity for BEd course at Rabindranath Bharati University is  50. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Candidates are selected for B.Ed and B.Ed Special Education based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Aspirants must complete graduation or Hons. graduation or postgraduation from any UGC recognised university with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) either at UG or PG level for B.Ed programme. Once the selection is done, shortlisted aspirants are required to pay the course fee to confirm seat in the university.

Yes, it is worth pursuing a BEd from Vardhman Mahaveer Open University. The univeristy is approved by UGC,  DEB,  AIU,  NCTE and accredited with an A Grade by NAAC. The university offers quality education under the guidance of experts with years of experience. VMOU offers resources to students such as study material, a learning management system, an e-prospectus, and others.

The APEdCET notification for the 2025 counselling is released in 9 September, 2025. Every year, after the result declaration, the exam body releases the counselling schedule in online mode on its official website. As and when the counselling schedule is released, we will share the dates here at shiksha.com. Students are advised to keep a track of the official website as well as this page fo the detailed schedule.

Karnataka State Open University B.Ed admission criteria are merit-based. Students looking to join the institute need to have completed a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised university. Further, in-service teachers of elementary (primary) education who have completed any degree from a recognised university are also eligible for B.Ed admission at KSOU Mysore.

No, once allotted, the IGNOU BEd Entrance Exam Centre 2026 cannot usually be changed. Candidates are advised to carefully select their preferred city while filling the application form. In rare cases, IGNOU may allow changes, but only under specific conditions mentioned in the guidelines.
