Uttar Pradesh has the highest number of BEd college like Bundelkhand University. There are 110 BEd colleges in UP. Rajasthan and Tamilnadu follows the list.

You can start applying in government colleges after fufling the eligibility criteria. Find all the government exams that you wish to apply for, fill the application form before the last date, upload documents, and make the payment. Appear for the exam and clear it. Once you complete the counselling process, you can get admission in government college for BEd course.

Yes, if you wish to get admission in a government college in Maharashtra for the BEd course, then you have to clear the MAH BEd CET exam. Some private colleges also offer direct admission.

Yes, BEd is available in IGNOU. You can get merit-based admission by clearing IGNOU BEd Entrance Test.

No, you can't complete BEd in one year. NCTE has announced the return but hasn't implemented the 1-year BEd programme in India yet. If you wish to become a teacher, choose regular 2-year BEd or recognised educational course.
