B.P.Ed Eligibility

B.P.Ed stands for Bachelor of Physical Education. It is a professional degree course which focuses on fitness and also across the various disciplines of sports. B.P.Ed course duration is usually 3 years. The course fee may vary based on the universities/colleges standards. The average course fee for B.P.Ed course ranges from INR 6,500 to 51,000 per annum.
B.P.Ed. Course ELIGIBILITY: The aspirants have to complete their (10+2) secondary and higher secondary from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks if he wants to get admission directly for B.P.Ed course. The two-year degree course is also available for the candidates who finished bachelor level degree with minimum 45-50% marks. Some of the universities ask for participation certificate in National/Inter-University/Sate competition or securing 1st,2nd or 3rd position in Inter College, Inter-Zonal, District, School competition in sports recognised by the government of India.

BPEd: Eligibility Criteria
Depending on the duration of the course as well as the policy of a university/ college, the eligibility criteria for BPEd varies. Given below is a generic BPEd eligibility criteria for 3-4 year as well as 1-2 year duration Bachelor of Physical Education course.
*3-4 Year Duration BPEd Eligibility Criteria
1.Candidates should clear Class XII in any stream from a recognised board
2.Candidates should score a minimum percentage in Class XII (usually 45% - 60%) as stipulated by the university/ college in which they are seeking admission
3.Preference at the time of admissions is given to candidates who have played some sport at school level or had physical education subject in Class XII
4.Candidates should be minimum 17 or more years in age
*1-2 Year Duration BPEd Eligibility Criteria
1.Candidates should clear graduation from a recognised university/ college with a minimum percentage (usually 50% - 60%)
2.Preference for admission is given to candidates who have studied Physical Education during graduation or have played sports at college level
3.Candidates should be 19 25 years in age
4.Both men and women are eligible for the course. However, in some institutes married women are not eligible for the course
