BPlan or Bachelor of Planning course is four years four-year full-time degree in planning for candidates who plan to pursue a career as a planning professional. They are given exposure to topics such as Urban and Rural Planning, Making Housing settlements, building structures and understanding basic architectural design. BPlan is offered by many institutes in India which also offer courses in Architecture such as BArch and MArch.

Those who possess skills such as the ability to analyse physical designs and plans Knowledge of project evaluation, understanding of demographic information ability to work with the public, the ability to solve problems creatively, and Communication Skills can pursue this course. Candidates must have completed basic Senior Secondary Education and clear national-level or state-level entrance examination conducted for admissions to BPlan courses such as NATA.

After completing BPlan, candidates can work across various government departments and private organisations which recruit urban and regional planners to suggest, monitor and implement housing and livelihood plans for the locals. They can also appear in competitive recruitment examinations and get recruited by government departments.

Out of 32 BPlan students who graduated in 2022, 17 were placed successfully. This makes the placement rate almost 53%. Earlier, out of 20 BPlan graduates 11 were placed during 2021 placements. Looking at the past three years' data, a fluctuating trend was observed in the percentage of BPlan students placed. Candidates must have a valid score in MHT CET to secure admission at COEP for BPlan. Those with a valid score in JEE Main Paper-II are also eligible for admission. However, as per news reports they are preferred less than MHT CET candidates.

Candidates who have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate and studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject are eligible. Aspirants shall have the original and photocopy of the pass certificate with them at the time of seat allotments. Moreover, the application is treated as invalid if the eligibility requirements are not fulfilled.

The total seat intake for the four-year UG planning stream course is 43. The school reserves the right to increase the seat intake at any time. The students interested in the BPlan course of SPA Delhi need to appear for JEE Main Paper-II. Students with a valid scores can take part in JoSAA counselling based on which seats are allotted to the eligible students. Further, selected candidates have to fill out the application and submit the required documents for verification.
