JEE Main 2026 Paper 2: National Testing Agency will start the registration for JEE Mains Paper 2 exam 2026 in October. JEE Main exam 2026 Paper 2 will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. The JEE Main official website 2026 was launched on September 29. Candidates applying for JEE Mains 2026 must ensure their Aadhar, UDID (for PwD candidates) and category certificate for OBC-NCL/SC/ST/EWS candidates are valid and correct.  

JEE Main Paper 2 syllabus 2025 for BArch consists of Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing, while the BPlan syllabus includes Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Planning. Candidates can download the JEE Main Paper 2 Syllabus from this page.

JEE Main Paper 2 exam will be conducted online, except for the drawing section. As per the JEE Main Paper 2 exam pattern, Paper 2A will have a total of 77 questions, 50 from General Aptitude, 25 from Mathematics, and 2 from Drawing. In Paper 2B, 50 questions are from General Aptitude, 25 from Mathematics, and 25 questions from Planning.

The JEE Main 2026 Registration Paper 2 will start in October. The JEE Main application form 2026 paper 2 wil be available online on the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Steps to fill JEE Main Application Form 2026

Step 1- Registration: Candidates have to fill JEE Mains 2026 registration form by providing basic details like name, mobile number, email ID etc.

Step 2- Filling Application Form: In this step, candidates have to fill detailed JEE Mains 2026 application form by providing details of parents, education, paper for which appearing, exam centre, category etc.

Step 3- Uploading Documents: Candidates have to upload scanned images of passport size colour photograph and signature. Candidates of reserved categories also need to upload category certificates.

Step 4- Payment of Application Fee: After documents uploaded, candidates have to pay application fees online. The application form will be automatically submitted after fee payment.

Step 5- Take Printout of Application Form: Candidates must take a printout of the filled application form and keep it safe.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Pattern Paper 2

The exam pattern of JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 will be released soon. As per previous year pattern, The JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 for BPlan will be conducted online. The JEE Main Paper 2 for BArch will be held online for the Mathematics and General Aptitude part while the drawing part will be held offline as a pen-paper-based test. The BArch paper consists of 77 questions, 25 from Mathematics, 50 from General Aptitude and 2 from Drawing. The BPlan paper consists of 100 questions, 25 from Mathematics, 50 from General Aptitude and 25 from Planning.

The exam pattern details including total number of questions, total duration of the exam, mode of conduct of the exam, type of questions, and number of questions is available here. It is very important that students have a clear idea about the exam before they start their preparation. Candidates have to select their preferred course while filling the application form whether they wish to appear in Paper 2A or Paper 2B.

The NTA will soon release the JEE Main Paper 2 syllabus 2026 on the official website. Candidates can check here previous year JEE Main syllabus for Paper 2 to know the topics that are covered in the exam. JEE Main BArch syllabus includes topics of Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing. The syllabus of JEE Main BPlan consists of topics from Mathematics, General Aptitude and Planning. It is advised that students prepare for the exam using the prescribed syllabus.

JEE Main Question Paper BArch and BPLan

The official JEE Main question papers for BArch and BPlan can be downloaded from NTA website. Candidates can check JEE Main paper 2 question papers to understand the details of exam. Candidates can use JEE Main question paper with solution pdf download as sample papers. It is also advised that students refer to JEE Main chapter-wise weightage to know topics that are important for the exam. Along with practising from the question papers, candidates must also take the mock test regularly.

NTA will release the JEE Main paper 2 admit card 2026 online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must download and take a printout of their admit card to appear in the exam. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam without admit card. JEE Main City intimation slip 2026 will be released before the admit card.

JEE Main Paper 2 answer key 2026 will be released online on the official website, around 10 days after the conclusion of the exam. NTA will first release the provisional answer key. Candidates can raise objections in the provisional key within the stipulated time. After reviewing the challenges, NTA will publish the final answer key. Candidates can download JEE Main Paper 2 Answer Key 2026 using the steps mentioned here.
