JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 (BArch and BPlan): National Testing Agency will hold the JEE Main 2026 session 1 Paper 2 exam for BArch and BPlan courses between January 21 and 30. The exact exam date will be announced by NTA in due course.

JEE Main Paper 2 syllabus 2026 is available now. Candidates can download the syllabus for BArch, BPlan from this page. BArch syllabus consists of Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Drawing, while the BPlan syllabus includes Mathematics, General Aptitude, and Planning.

JEE Main Paper 2 exam will be conducted online, except for the drawing section. As per the JEE Main Paper 2 exam pattern, Paper 2A will have a total of 77 questions, 50 from General Aptitude, 25 from Mathematics, and 2 from Drawing. In Paper 2B, 50 questions are from General Aptitude, 25 from Mathematics, and 25 questions from Planning. The JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam will be held from April 2 to 9.

The JEE Main 2026 Registration Paper 2 is now over for session 1. The JEE Main application form 2026 paper 2 was available online on the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Instructions to fill JEE Main Application Form 2026

Registration: Candidates have to fill JEE Mains 2026 registration form by providing basic details like name, mobile number, email ID etc.

Filling Application Form: In this step, candidates have to fill detailed JEE Mains 2026 application form by providing details of parents, education, paper for which appearing, exam centre, category etc.

Uploading Documents: Candidates have to upload scanned images of passport size colour photograph and signature. Candidates of reserved categories also need to upload category certificates.

Payment of Application Fee: After documents uploaded, candidates have to pay application fees online. The application form will be automatically submitted after fee payment.

Take Printout of Application Form: Candidates must take a printout of the filled application form and keep it safe.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Pattern Paper 2

The exam pattern of JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 has been released by NTA. As per the pattern, JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 will be conducted online except the drawing part of BArch which is offline as a pen-paper-based test. The BArch paper consists of 77 questions, 25 from Mathematics, 50 from General Aptitude and 2 from Drawing. The BPlan paper consists of 100 questions, 25 from Mathematics, 50 from General Aptitude and 25 from Planning. It is very important that students have a clear idea about exam before they start their preparation. Candidates have to select course choice between Paper 2A and 2B while filling application form.

The NTA has released the JEE Main Paper 2 syllabus 2026 on the official website. Candidates can check here JEE Main syllabus for Paper 2 here to know the topics that are covered in the exam. JEE Main BArch syllabus includes topics of Mathematics, General Aptitude and Drawing. The syllabus of JEE Main BPlan consists of topics from Mathematics, General Aptitude and Planning. JEE Main Question Paper BArch and BPLan

Candidates can download JEE Main paper 2a and 2b question papers from the website of NTA. They can check JEE Main paper 2 question papers to understand details of exam. Also, candidates can use JEE Main question paper with solution pdf download as sample papers. Students must also refer to JEE Main chapter-wise weightage to know topics that are important for exam. Along with practising from question papers, candidates must also take mock test regularly.

JEE Main 2026 Admit Card Paper 2

NTA will release the JEE Main paper 2 admit card 2026 online on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must download and take a printout of their admit card to appear in the exam. No candidates will be allowed to appear in the exam without admit card. JEE Main City intimation slip 2026 will be released before the admit card.

JEE Main 2026 Paper 2 Answer Key

JEE Main Paper 2 answer key 2026 will be released online on the official website, around 10 days after the conclusion of the exam. NTA will first release the provisional answer key. Candidates can raise objections in the provisional key within the specified date and time. After reviewing the challenges, NTA will publish the final answer key. Candidates can download JEE Main Paper 2 Answer Key using the steps mentioned here.

No, JEE Main is not mandatory for UPES Dehradun BTech admission. While the university accepts the scores of the exam, it is not the only accepted exam. Students can also submit scores of UPESEAT/ SAT India/ CUET exams for BTech admission.
