Biotechnology is the amalgamation of Biology and Technology and includes a wide array of subjects like biology, genetics, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular Science, engineering, microbiology, etc. School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) under Rai University offers B.Sc. M.Sc. PGD programmes in the field of Biotechnology. Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects

I think there are plenty of opportunities to go after that most students/faculty oversee. Most faculty in biotechnology think that, the next steps after an undergraduate degree is to go for Ph.D/M.Sc. I strongly disagree with this.
In addition to courses such as Master's/ Ph.D in Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology etc.
I would suggest you to also look at the following options:
Patent Agent/Lawyer/Attorney (Biotech + Legal Experience/Degree)
Management (Biotech + Experience + Good MBA Degree)
Biomedical/Biomechanical Engineer ((Biotech + Experience/Degree in Bio related Product Engineering)
Bioprocess Engin
In addition to courses such as Master's/ Ph.D in Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Pharmacology etc.
I would suggest you to also look at the following options:

Yes, it may be preferable to pursue this course, only if you want to pursue your career in biotechnology. Besides this, you can go for MBA programme, which will be more beneficial to you to apply for jobs across India and abroad. Good luck.
