B.Sc Biotechnology

Hello,
This is quite interesting question since with the advent of Biotechnology as an emerging field, people are shifting more towards it with the view to try something new and exciting in this career option. But it doesn't mean that MBBS is loosing its charisma since if you feel that you have an exceptional knowledge along with dedicating passion to serve people,then surely MBBS is a right option. As I myself is in biotechnology sphere, I would like to enlist some of its fascinating features which enticed me alot:
1) Firstly, it allows you to learn every discipline of science field rather than restricting to one which can thus broaden your options during post graduation.
2) It is more of research oriented field.So you will be playing with the DNA and RNA in reality by different experiments which will introduce you with the entreaties of cell.
3) It basically presents the fascinating subjects like molecular biology, tissue culture, bioinformatics, genomics and proteomics and many more.
4)One will be open to the diversity in fields like industrial, medical, plant and animal biotechnology.
5)One has a good prospects for persuing higher studies in the countries like USA, UK, etc. which provide better exposure.
I think this is just a few points. By the way, introspect yourself and choose wisely.
