No, NIT Suratkal doesn't offer B.Tech Biotechnology course and any of the B.Sc. Courses. If you want to pursue Biotechnology, then you have to go with other top institutes present in Karnataka.

Hi Pallavi, Biotechnology has huge. Scope career, even beyond your imagination. You will have lots of opportunities in biotechnology field. As biotech. Is a multidisciplinary and job orientation course. And first of all Biotech is not a subject like zoology, botany are. These are the classical branch of biological Science but In biotechnology you will get lots of golden opportunities to see the Science in completely different views and at a different level of thoughts. You have not specified about the college, where you wish to pursue the course. However, the eligibility criteria at VJIT Mumbai is B.Sc. With Chemistry / Microbiology or equivalent as the principal subject from any University in Maharashtra State, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. (45% marks in case of Reserved Category Candidates). Hence, the students with B.Sc Biotechnology are not eligible for this programme.
