The Bachelor of Optometry typically emphasizes clinical skills, patient care, and hands-on training in diagnosing and treating eye disorders. Bachelor of Optometry often includes extensive practical experience through clinical rotations and internships.

In contrast, a BSc in Optometry tends to be more science-focused, covering theoretical aspects of vision science, optics, and biomedical sciences. While it also includes practical training, the curriculum may place more emphasis on research and the scientific foundations of optometry.

BSc Optometry is not equivalent to a doctorate degree. While individuals with a BSc in Optometry are highly knowledgeable and skilled in the field of optometry, they do not hold the title of 'doctor'. The term 'doctor' typically refers to individuals who have completed a doctoral degree, such as a Doctor of Optometry (OD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Optometry.

While BSc Optometry provides a solid foundation for a career in optometry, it does not confer the title of 'doctor'. The title of 'doctor' is typically reserved for individuals who have completed a doctoral degree in optometry or a related field.

Sure Misha, you may take the UPSC Civil Services Examination after earning your optometry bachelor's degree. Candidates are not restricted by the UPSC based on their undergraduate degree; all that is required is that you fulfill the general eligibility requirements:

1. Educational Requirement: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
2. Age Limit: You must be within the UPSC-established age ranges to take the exam.
3. Nationality: You must be an Indian citizen or fulfill the UPSC's requirements for nationality.
