Hi.Some of the top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, Royal Bank of Scotland, LNT, HTCL, etc. There is a separate placements cell. Placements training is conducted by the management for the final year students. Around 65% of marks are required for placements interview. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA.

Students who are in the 4th semester or in their final year are eligible for campus placements. Anthem Bioscience, Reddy's Laboratory, and other companies visit every year. Around 15% of students are getting placements.

The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.3 LPA. Many government and private schools visit their college for hiring the students. Many reputable companies visit the campus for recruitment drives. It's essential to maintain a good academic record and actively participate in extracurricular activities to enhance your chances during placements. Institute of Home Economics Median Package stood at INR 2.86 LPA. 

VIT Chennai BSc median package for the year 2022 offered to the graduates as disclosed in the NIRF report 2023 was INR 3.82 LPA. Out of the 652 total students, 132 students from the UG programme got placed. Some of the major recruiters participated in the placement process include Amazon, PwC, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini etc.

IIT Roorkee concluded its Phase-2 placements in the month of April. However, BSc courses specific data is not available. In terms of overall UG placements, IIT Roorkee was able to provide good placements to its students. According to media reports, 23 international and in total 802 offers were grabbed during Phase-1 placements. Databricks offered a salary package of INR 2.05 crore per annum to a student during the first phase of IIT Roorkee placements 2023-24. Based on IIT Kharagpur NIRF 2024 Overall Report, a total of 663 students were placed during IIT Kharagpur 2023 placements. Tabulated below are the number of UG students placed over the past three academic years’ placements:

According to multiple media reports, a total of 700 placement offers were made on the first day of IIT Kharagpur 2024 placements. Further, students of IIT Kharagpur received more than 19 international offers. Importantly,  6 offers with a package of more than INR 1 crore per annum were offered to IIT Kharagpur students. Over 61 companies offered various job roles to students, mainly in Finance, Banking, Analytics, Software, Core Engineering and Consulting sectors.
