B.Sc in Information Technology of Amity University Mumbai has selection criteria that you should be class 12th pass without failing in any subject that year. If this criteria matches, you are eligible for sitting in an interview along with a small exam to test your knowledge. If you clear these two stages, than you would get an admission in Amity University Mumbai. Intake is higher for this course as there is a demand for students graduating from such courses.

To be honest, there is no such thing as a career in biotechnology after B.Sc Biotechnology. It is just a stepping stone to higher studies. Biotechnology is a highly research intensive field and hence there are not many opportunities after B.Sc Biotechnology. However, there are industries which take up B.Sc Biotechnology graduates for doing menial jobs in production and quality control as they can pay them less to work more. Scholarship is based on the criterion of state government, different states have different rules for scholarships, like Rajasthan government scholarships for class 12th passed is scooty for girls and cash reward.

After B.Sc, you can go for either government exams, or go for MBA programme, and also you can go for M.Sc and after that in research depending upon your area of interest. Even you can become an Entrepreneur. Good luck.

Hello Kavi,It is nice to see your query. It is very interesting query. All the same however the answer is not so simple. There are two schools of thought. The first school says after graduation one must seek employment, get to know the working environment in an industry or a company for a few years and then go for post-graduation studies. This way you will be better qualified in this post-graduation, as you will have the knowledge of industry working. On the other hand there is equal weightage for the argument that without a break in studies you should go for post-graduation as you will be accustomed to studies and hence will be better

Yes, you can apply. The eligibility criteria for B.Sc (CS) is 12th passed. However, 12th with mathematics will be preferred.
