Eligibility Criteria
10+ 2 from CBSE or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology /Technical Vocational subject. In addition, candidates will also have to appear in GATA (Goenkan Aptitude Test for Admission) and Personal Interview.

It is very clear that B.Tech is a technical course but, some B.Sc. Courses like computer Science, electronics, IT, Industrial chemistry etc. Are also technical type courses. Other normal B.Sc. Courses are non-technical. It depends on your future study planning that which is better for you. If you're interested in technology then B.Tech is better. If you're interested in theoretical and conceptual knowledge of Science then B.Sc. Is better. For example, you will study most of the practical, experimental and technical topics in B.Tech Electronics while in B.Sc. Electronics, you will study mostly theory and principles, new and ancient.
