At present, the scientific, analytical and problem-solving skills developed by microbiology graduates are high in demand by employers. You can work in both government as well as in private sectors. Microbiologists are mostly demanded in the UK, US, France, Australia and Germany.
With a degree in microbiology you can get opportunities in various fields like healthcare organizations, forensic science laboratories, environmental organizations, higher education institutions, food and drink, publicly funded research organizations, pharmaceuticals and many other industries. In the medicine and health care field, your work is usually associated with prevention & treatment of illnesses linked with microbes.
Further, various universities & Institutions employ microbiologists as teachers & researchers.
On the other hand, biotechnology is a rapidly developing field. Many private businesses are exploring this field and heavily investing in it. It is safe to say that there are ample job opportunities for Biotechnology graduates in private sector. Government sector too offers job opportunities, but not in the scale in which private sector does.
Some prominent industries where Biotechnology professionals may find jobs are- Pharmaceuticals Industry, Healthcare sector, Chemical Industry and Research sector.

B.Sc in Physiotherapy is an undergraduate course in science. The duration of the course is 3 to 4 years (depending on the University that offers the course). The course study mainly covers the method and techniques used in the eradication of diseases via physical exercises. The modern methods in physiotherapy treatment such as electrotherapy, rehabilitation therapy, etc are also covered under the course. Further, physiotherapy also has a vast range of career options to choose. People can either work in India or go abroad and flourish their career in physiotherapy.
On the other hand, after completion of the nursing course, there are various career opportunities available. The nurses can get jobs in both government and private sectors. Mostly they work in areas like government and private hospitals, nursing homes, old age homes, orphanages, various industries, sanatoriums and armed forces. So, it depends on where your interest lies and then you can take a call accordingly.
