Hello pradhyumn,
If you are interested in pursuing Physics hons, then you should definitely try for Delhi University.
Admissions in DU varies every year depending on the number of applicants and cutoffs. The basic eligibility is 60% or above marks in the aggregate and
60% or above marks in Physics. However, the cut off for colleges might go as high as 90% plus.
Few of the DU colleges are
St. Stephen's College
Miranda House
Hansraj College
Kalindi College
Ramjas College
Hindu College

You don't need to do B.Sc in any other subject. Just apply for the B.Sc chemistry at a university/college after verifying that you have successfully done your 12th and cleared the cut-off required to take admission in B.Sc chemistry.
