B.Tech is a professional course.
B.Sc is a normal sc. course(even honours)
Engineering is an advanced course for Science.
if u have interest in chemistry, do betch.chem.
if u done B.Sc.chem., u must need to do M.Sc.chem., for that jobs equated with betch.chem

Prepare yourself for the entrance exams such as CAT,MAT,XAT etc.Be sure that you are fully dedicated towards it.Once you crack any of these exams with good percentile you will definetly get a good institute.Try for IIMs.
