Admission to NITs and IITs is based on the performance of candidates in the Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and Advanced respectively. To be eligible for JEE Main a candidate must have passed their class 12th or equivalent examination with Physics Mathematics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Additionally, the candidate must have secured a minimum of 75% marks (65% for SC/ST) or be in the top 20 percentile of their respective board examination. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programs in IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other government engineering colleges are as follows:
Qualification: You should have passed your 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Age Limit: You should be born on or after October 1, 1997, if you belong to the general category. There is a relaxation of five years for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. DU does not offers B.Tech, but one of its Department Cluster Innovation Centre offers B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations). You have to apply separately for the Entrance Exam for B.Tech. So fill that form, if you haven't already. They have 75% in 12th as eligibility criteria for the Entrance Exam but amid the Covid Pandemic, they might give some relaxation. Keep Updated on DU website for more information.

Hi, You can definitely pursue engineering but unfortunately not in computer Science. For CS it is necessary to have PCM in 12th however you can go for BIO Technology Engineering.

You first have to clear JEE Mains, with a good percentile. If you're from outside Delhi quota and aiming for computer engineering then as good as 99.5 percentile. You can have advantage if you have Delhi quota. All the best.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Candidates must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam with a minimum of 50 percent marks from a recognised institution.
2. They must have majored in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in high school. The pupils must pass the entrance exam cut-off. So, yes you are eligible for B.Tech.
