A candidate must have passed 10+2 or higher secondary examination from a recognised board with minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved category). Final year or appearing students are also eligible to apply for JEE Mains provisionally. Also, he/she must have appeared in a national level entrance test like JEE Mains for the particular academic year. Specialisation for B.E/B.E Lateral Entry:

Eligibility for B.E Lateral Entry:
A candidate must have passed Diploma in Engineering of minimum 3 years duration from a recognised board/University with at least 60% marks in aggregate (55% marks for reserved category). The candidate must also attempt the PULEET Entrance test conducted by Panjab University for Lateral entry admissions.

The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad, offers interdisciplinary courses with a research-focused curriculum. At undergraduate level, Saveetha University offers BE/B.Tech and BE/B.Tech (Lateral) courses to the students who want to pursue their career in the field of engineering. The duration period for the courses are 4 years and 3 years respectively. In order to seek admission in the above mentioned courses, the eligible candidates need to appear in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) or Common Entrance Test conducted by the Anna University. Eligibility:
Marks obtained in the higher secondary (10+2) examination or Should have passed the higher secondary examination of Vocational stream (Vocational groups in Engineering/ Technology) as prescribed by the government. of Tamilnadu through the Single Window Counseling allotted by Anna University through Tamilnadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) -Cut off marks is 200 (100 for Mathematics and 100 for Physics + Chemistry). Engineering is a full-time four-year undergraduate course degree offered by Jadavpur University, Kolkata and approved by AICTE.
Admission Process:
Provisional admission will be made on the basis of the Provisional Admission Letter for a seat of Jadavpur University issued by the WB-JEM for Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to Engineering, Medical/Technological Degree Colleges at any of the Reporting Centers provided the candidate satisfies the prescribed following medical fitness (except for candidates applying under Physically Challenged quota).
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent examination of a University/Board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English are eligible for provisional admission to the First Year Class of the aforesaid Undergraduate Engg/Tech/Arch/ Pharm courses.
