Yes, you can do it. After completing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering a candidate is eligible to pursue M.Sc. In Mathematics. There are many universities that offer this course :
Delhi University, Delhi
St. Xaviers College, Ahmedabad
Lovely Professional University
St. Francis College for Women, Hyderabad
Christ University, Bengaluru
Presidency College, Chennai
Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Chennai.

As per the eligibility, students have to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Chemistry English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. In this case, if had Biology in +2, THEN YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR B.Tech Biotechnology. If you are looking for the best university for B.Sc. In the biotechnology course, I would say Lovely professional University is the best university. The curriculum has been designed in such a way that it makes it easier for the students to prepare themselves for giant exams like CSIR NET ICMR, ICAR, and GATE. Yes, you can do B.Ed after B.Tech. Candidates are required to have a degree from a recognised college with a minimum of 50% marks.

Distance M.Sc. Mathematics is a postgraduate course so the minimum eligibility for the course is an undergraduate degree. To be eligible for Distance M.Sc. In mathematics, a student has to be a B.Sc. Graduate with Mathematics as the major subject.
