Hey Ravi ,
Fairly speaking I don't have much idea about percentile because in our time we dealt with rank system.
So talking about rank, generally the maximum rank in general category goes around 4-5k.
Therefore, you must work sufficiently hard to take the seat.

Physical requirements to get into IMU are not much different from any other engineering college. Eye Vision- 6/6
Height-More than 5
Should not be allergic with water, etc. There is a very little chance of not getting into IMU due to physical requirements.

Hello Gokulrajan, from this year onwards, NTA will decide ranking and cutoff based on percentile and not on raw marks scored in JEE Mains. Hence I feel what you are quoting as marks must be percentile or it must be given separately. For a general category student, your percentile is a bit on the lower side and I am afraid that it would be tough to get admission in any NIT. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about predicting your college once you input percentile.
