B.Tech Eligibility

SCMS College's B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering is a 4 years course offered at the UG level. To be eligible for this course, students must have 45.0% in 12th.

To pursue BTech in School of Engineering and Technology, one needs to fulfil the following eligibility criteria: 

Passed 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects

Must have at least 50% marks in these subjects

Must have at least 40% marks for reserved category candidates

Must have cleared an entrance exam like JEE Main or JEE Advanced

Sometimes admission is based on a personal interview and written test

To be eligible for the B.E. or B.Tech programs at Vasavi College of Engineering (VCE), Hyderabad, candidates must have completed their 10+2 education with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as core subjects, securing a minimum aggregate score of 45%. Admission is primarily based on the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), and candidates must secure a valid rank in this examination. Additionally, applicants are required to fulfill the local/non-local status criteria as specified by the Telangana State Educational Institutions. The eligibility criteria for admission to B.E./B.Tech in Arunai Engineering College, Tiruvannamalai, require candidates to pass the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for general category students, from a recognised board. The candidate must be at least 17 years of age and at most 25 years of age on July 1 of the admission year. Admission is basically on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, wherein a candidate's performance in the 12th-grade board exams is considered. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories are also given relaxation according to government norms.

The eligibility for the B.E. / B.Tech course from Jaya Engineering College at Thiruninravur, Chennai, expects that students have completed 10+2 education through core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and come from a recognised board. The candidate must ensure they get at least a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks in the qualifying exam; for reserved categories, 45 per cent is acceptable. Admission is largely based on TNEA counselling, based on marks obtained in 10+2. Also, a candidate should not be less than 17 years of age as of the year of admission. Direct application to the college by students who seek admission under the management quota is allowed.

To be eligible to the B.E. / B.Tech programme in the Park College of Engineering and Technology (PCET), candidates must have an upper secondary education qualification (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as principal subjects. They should acquire at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination which is relaxed to 45% in case of students belonging to reserved categories. Candidates must also hold a valid score in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions counseling or recognised entrance exams such as JEE Main.
