To be eligible for admission to BTech, candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream with Mathematics/ Biology with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) from a recognised board. Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or Higher Secondary Board
Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination a maximum of two times

Eligitibilty criteria for B.E. / B.Tech Admissions: All candidates who seek admission in B.E. / B.Tech courses under Rural Engineering College may apply if they have passed 10 + 2 examination or equivalent from a recognised board in which he/she must have Physics, Chemistry and Math's as compulsory subjects.
Minimum Marks: 50% aggregate marks (45% in case of reserved categories).
Entrance Exam: Admission usually takes place based on marks obtained in entrance examination conducted at the state level, such as MHT CET or national level exams, like JEE Main.

Eligibility: The minimum percentage requirement in the aggregate for admission in BE/B Tech is 45% in 10+2, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology. JEE Main or GUJCET examination must have been attempted. Cut-off ranks: JEE Main- 150,000-200,000, GUJCET- 10,000-20,000. Diploma holders with an aggregate of 45% are eligible also. Lateral entry with aggregate of 50% in the Diploma can get direct admission into second-year students. Reservation: Gujarat domicile-50% seats, All India quota-15%, and NRI/management quota-5%. In total, admission will be taken for 600 seats in 6 branches.
