Eligibility criteria for B.E./B.Tech at D.K.T.E. Society's Textile and Engineering Institute: 10+2 with 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories), obligatory- Physics and Mathematics, optional- Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational. Maharashtra candidates need an MH CET score whereas outside Maharashtra students need a JEE Main score. Lateral entry is also permissible for Diploma holders. Eligibility Criteria for General Category: PCM: 40% aggregate for General, 35% for reserved categories MH CET score should be 150/200 above 60/360 JEE Main score.

For B.E./B.Tech at PEC, Pondicherry Engineering College the eligibility criteria include 10+2 in PCM (40 % for SC/ST), at least 45 % aggregate. Admission is through a valid score in JEE Main with 50 % weightage, +2 marks 30 % weightage and Normalized marks in PCM with 20 % weightage. For lateral entry, it is required to be above 45 % aggregate (diploma) along with a valid JEE Main score. 480 seats: 360 for JEE Main, 120 for lateral entry, 15% for All India quota, 25% for management quota, 5% for NRI quota; Application fee Rs 500-1,000; Reservation norms as applicable by Puducherry government.

To qualify for the B.E./B.Tech programme at SSBT's College of Engineering and Technology, candidates must have passed 12th grade with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and a relevant subject like Chemistry or Biology. Eligibility To be eligible to join the B.E. / B.Tech at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, one must have passed the 10+2 level examination or equivalent with at least 50% marks in mathematics, physics, and chemistry grouped together for candidates in the general category from a recognised Board. Admission is strictly through the counselling conducted by Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA), whereby the scores as achieved in the 12th standard would form the basis for admission.

MIT School of Bioengineering Sciences & Research offers 90 seats in the BTech programme. Candidates looking for admission to BTech can apply for the admission form online. To be eligible for admission to BTech, candidates must pass Class 12 or equivalent in Science stream with Mathematics/ Biology with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) from a recognised board. For admission to B.Tech in S. Veerasamy Chettiar College of Engineering and Technology, the eligibility criteria are:
Any other equivalent qualification approved by the State Board of Technical Education of Tamil Nadu or Higher Secondary Board
Candidates belonging to communities other than SC/ST should have passed the qualifying examination a maximum of two times
For admission to B.Tech, one must have passed 10+2 examination from any board in Science stream. For admission to B.Tech, it is beneficial to have PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) group as core subjects.
