The eligibility criteria for B.Tech at Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University (SGBAU) are as follows:

  1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 with PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from a recognized board for getting admission into the B.Tech program.
  2. Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of merit in MHT-CET followed by counseling.

The university offers B.Tech courses with specializations in Chemical Technology, Food Technology, Pulp & Paper Technology, Oil & Paint Technology, Petrochemical Technology.

To be eligible for the B.Tech programme at Jain Deemed-to-be University, Bangalore

  1. applicants must pass Class from a board
  2.  minimum percentage required is 45% marks (40% for SC/ST candidates)
  3. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects, with Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science/Biology as one of the subjects.
  4. International Baccalaureate students require a minimum of 26 credits, while Cambridge A-Level students must complete three subjects at the 'A' level.

The final selection is based on the scores and ranks obtained by candidate in COMPEDK UGET, Uni-GAUGE, KCET, or Jain Entrance Test (JET).

For admission to BTech at OIST Bhopal, apart from JEE rank, it is also crucial that applicant meet the prescribed eligibility criteria. Thus, a student need to have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate to be eligible for admission. At the time of form filling and admission confirmation, student should carry the pass certificate (original/photocopy). It is required for verification purposes.

BTech is a four-year programme divided into eight semesters. Admission to BTech is based on JEE Main, HUAET or CUET rank and eligibility criteria set by the university. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at later stages of admission.

As per my knowledge, most of the B.Tech colleges are willing to take students with percentage (%) criteria. There are some of the colleges that take without 75% criteria are Rise Krishna Group of Institutions, Pace Engineering and Technology, Qis Institutions of Engineering and Technology at Ongole in Andhra Pradesh.

Candidates can apply for SJCE BTech admissions through TNEA through the below mentioned modes:

In person: Through 50 TNEA admission centres

Postal: Only from Anna University, the Centre for Entrance Examinations and Admissions Internet: Though Anna University official website

For persuading B.Tech at COER Roorkee, Candidate need to appear JEE MAINS exam and get at least 50 percentile in that as the closing rank is near about 5,00,000. Thus for 50 percentile, they need 31-40 marks out of 300. However, for Computer Science they need 70 percentile, i.e 41-50 marks out of 300. Additionally, candidates must have at least 45% in 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology.
