CSE has 38 faculty members. Most of them have PhDs. There are informal labs with new techs like SPSS toolkit, MATLAB and all the integrated software for IoT. Almost 80% of computer science students appearing for the placement procedure get placed. The highest package offered was of 15 lakh by Nutanix.

Placements at IIT are definitely the best among engineering colleges. 421 B.Tech students and 185 dual degree students were placed last year. The highest package offered was 2.5 million, and the average package was 1.2 million. A lot of intern offers are there for the 2nd and 3rd-year students. If a student is interested in any field, he/she can get an internship easily. Mostly, INR 10000 per month stipend is offered, but one can apply to different places on their own. There is a good chance of getting an internship if you are from IIT Bombay. Analytics, consulting, engineering, IT/software, finance, research and development, FMCG, education, etc. are the sectors in which students are placed.

Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering and Technology is one of the colleges said by Mahatma Gandhi mission and approved by AICTE and Mahatma Gandhi Mission College has many different types of colleges like medical, nursery, management, physiotherapy, arts, etc.
Mahatma Gandhi Mission's College of Engineering is known for its infrastructure, faculty, campus, placement and campus.

When it comes to petroleum engineering in particular, IIT (ISM) Dhanbad has got no match all across India. If we talk about last 2-3 years, almost top 60% (GPA wise, good communication skills, good CV) of the total strength (100 - 110) got placement in core companies like Schlumberger, Shell, Cairn India, Halliburton etc. which is above Rs 10 to Rs 12 lakhs per annum. Rest of them have to accept either the placement offers of IT companies or have to go for further studies. There is a very little scope of off-campus placements in India. Quality placements are very good but quantity placements are not so good in core companies - this means that average package and percentage of batch placed is not that great as compared to other branches of IITs, but ISM, Dhanbad has recently been recognized as Indian Institute of Technology. It may take time to get more quantity of placements, but it may improve in years. In 2017, out of 97 students who appeared for the placement process in total, almost 35 students grabbed the core company job. Some of the students joined the non-core one.

The placement scenario varies from year to year especially in chemical engineering of Haldia Institute of Technology.
In 2017, various core companies recruited students from HIT like Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., Adani Wilmar, Topchem Cement, Praxair, Wacker, S.G Biogas, IR Chemicals, Oriental Nicco, Chemtex, Voith Paper, Sanmar, and Almal.
Many IT companies mass recruited chemical engineers like Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, etc.
Some chemical engineers from Haldia Institute of Technology got a chance to get placed in sales companies like Berger, Amazon, but these two companies recruited students through off campus placements. Off campus placement opportunities are also there but you need to have the patience to get through with them as most of them are willing to recruit after you have completed your final semester. Some faculty members help students appear for an interview through their industry sources off campus.
Well, talking about the placement stats, only 20% of batch get placed in core companies, the rest of the batch was placed in IT companies that are mentioned above and some decided to opt for higher studies.
The average salary package offered by core companies was 3.5-.5.5 LPA and the salary offered by IT companies was 3-3.2 LPA.
If you really want a core job then you have to be among the toppers or else smart enough to face any interview.
