SVNIT is amongst the top 10 NITs of India and also one of the oldest technical institutes. It was established in 1961 with just 3-4 branches and mechanical was one amongst them.
So, being among the oldest institutes and one of the oldest core branches, the department is well settled and well equipped with the required necessary labs also a no. of new labs have been constructed which will mostly start in this academic year. It has faculty members with ocean of knowledge in various fields of Mechanical Engineering.

CS Department at NIE was started in the year 1983 as per now it has four Professors, five Associate Professors , Nine Assistant Professors and eight Lecturers. The department has received the World Bank grant under TEQIP. The department is a recognized centre for academic research and has produced Doctorates. It has qualified professors as research guide and 17 candidates are pursuing Ph.D.
Microsoft, Cisco, Broadcomm, Freescale, NetApp, Adobe, Goldman Sachs etc. used to hire from NIE. However don't expect companies like Amazon, Google, Apple, would come and hire from NIE. These guys don't hire from most of colleges except for IITs and NITs.
Labs are well equipped 6 spacious computer centres with more than 200 latest Computers. The Department has the latest hardware and software, multimedia projectors, laser and colour inkjet printers, digital camera, scanning and image transformation facilities.
Infrastructure and academics is top-notch. Placements are pretty good. Lecturers are friendly and co-operative.

GGSIPU has just one college that offers chemical engineering- USCT (University School of Chemical technology) situated in the main campus of IPU in Dwarka. The placements in chemical engineering at IPU are pretty mediocre and hardly any top companies come to recruit at the campus. That said, if you happen to have the knowledge of the domain and are able to secure a good rank in the college, chances are good that you might land a decent job. The companies that visit the campus are pharma research and medical drugs manufacturers. Also, certain FMCG recruiters were also reported. The program at USCT is not a very old one and is still picking up. On the bright side, USCT is a government institution, ensuring a very nominal fee for the programme and thus a decent return on investment (RoI). The fee for the college is around 75K per year and it also houses state of the art laboratories.
Faculty to student ratio is also pretty good and the student life at the main campus of IPU is definitely better than it is at other private colleges.

Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE), is part of the Gargantuan Dayanand Sagar Institutions (DSI) campus which spreads over acres of land and is home to several other sister institutes. The quality of teaching is fairly good. Recently the college had received the NAAC grading A. It's an autonomous college, so the syllabus in Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, [DSCE] Bangalore is updated regularly.
Overall, about 70% of the students get placed, most of them in Infosys and Accenture, two major recruiters here. Computers Science and Information Science sections record 100% placements with ECE, EEE & Telecom the following suit. What distinguishes DSCE from other average engineering colleges is that a few core companies like Bosch, L&T and Mu Sigma also visit the campus offering salaries from Rs. 3.5L 6L per year.
EC, however, is a pretty strict branch at DSCE which does spoon feed you important internals questions but also burdens you with constant assignments and seminars. It is quite an active department & host to a wide range of IEEE events.
I suggest you look for other factors like proximity to the main city, attendance issues, campus fests, campus crowd, etc. because it is not only your education in terms of academics but also 4 precious years of your life, don't miss out on the fun and learning. In the end, no matter where you study from, the placements are all the same until and unless you go out of your way to take up new courses, which will ensure you get into good companies.

Haldia Institute of Technology is located in Midnapore.
It is one of the best private colleges in West Bengal.
And civil engineering is one of the core branches offered by the Haldia Institute of Technology.
This college is also known for its faculty, infrastructure and campus.
Affiliated to the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, the students of civil engineering are given hand on experience and training in the campus.

In general,MIT school of engineering is very good in terms of infrastructure and the faculty of mechanical engineering.

We get lots of opportunities to get a job before we go out of the college like internships and training and hands on experience.

The average package from the placement of mechanical branch is about 2.5 lakhs per annum.

MIT School of Engineering is affiliated to Manipal Institute of Technology. It is one of the most reputed college in India.
Placements: The placements of MIT are surprisingly good for almost every branch. The CSE department have had a 100% accuracy when it comes to placements and it is the same every year with an average package for these two branches being around 10-15 lakhs per annum (LPA). The highest package was offered by Microsoft at 22 lakhs per annum. The students who got into IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc. were usually offered roles in back-end software maintenance. Unique job profiles were by Goldman Sachs, some of which were Android app development and machine learning.
In general, there are over 100+ companies that come for placements with a placement percentage in CSE being 100. Some of the big names were Microsoft, Amazon, SanDisk, Samsung, Deloitte, VMware, Tata Motors, etc. There are internships available in Microsoft, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Samsung. The job profiles offered were mostly product maintenance at the back end along with Goldman Sachs offering the positions mentioned above.
The stipend offered by these companies was around 30 thousand per month. But apart from this, we have an international organisation in our college by the name of IAESTE which has contacts with universities and companies abroad and it provides applicants paid technical internships abroad.

Students got placed in good companies and about 80% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 11 lakhs per year and the minimum was about 1 lakh per year. Almost 25 well-known companies visited the college Like Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, etc. Roles like coder, software designer, managers, etc. were offered or core jobs were offered.
Average salary provided in the placement of global Technical Campus for CSE branch is about 3 lakhs.

MIT is one of the most reputed colleges in South India. It was initially an autonomous institution later affiliated to Anna University. The college is known for the departments like Electronics and Instrumentation, Automobile Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering. It also has strong alumni base.
