The reservation of seats to SC, ST, OBC, Differently Abled candidates, EWS and dependents of Army personnels shall be governed by prevailing Uttar Pradesh State Government orders/as per rules laid down by CSJM University. There are a total of 390 seats for BTech course in campus and affiliated colleges. Candidates can get a seat in BTech programme of CSJMU based on their CUET-UG or JEE Main score.

SRM University admits students based on a valid score of SRMJEE. Candidates who qualify the exam are offered seats via a university-level counselling process. There is no seat reservation policy found on SRM IST. However, other SRM University campuses might offer seat reservations for Engineering courses. Majorily of seats are reserved for Civil and IT Engineering for BTech students for the year 2023. Apart from this, the seats are reserved from Mechanical and Electronics and Communication Engineering. As a whole, the seats are reserved for BTech full-time and for Lateral Entry.
