Mumbai has around 70+ BTech colleges in Mumbai accept MHT CET score. Of these, 60+ colleges are privately owned, 4 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private entities own 1 BTech college.
Some of the popular MHT CET accepting BTech colleges in Mumbai (All) include ICT Mumbai, VJTI Mumbai, Sardar Patel Institute of Technology, Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology, K J Somaiya Institute of Technology, etc.
Admission to these colleges is based on the MHT CET score through CAP rounds.

The total intake of students in B.Tech Civil Engineering at PSG Institute of Technology and Applied Research is 300. Last year, 287 students were admitted to the programme with 113 being females. The total fee for a four-year BTech course at Vijaybhoomi School of Science and Technology ranges between INR 8 Lacs to INR 16 lakh. As per the course requirements, candidates applying for admission to BTech course at Vijaybhoomi School of Science and Technology must pass Class 12 with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised board. Further, applicants from SC/ ST categories can obtain minimum of 40% aggregate scores in the same.

The eligibility criteria for the Distance / Correspondence BTech course may differ from college to college. However, the basic eligibility criteria for Distance / Correspondence BTech in Bangalore are as follows. The candidates:
- Must have passed Class 12 with a minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised board with Mathematics as Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects (the pass percentage may vary in different colleges).
- A candidate who has completed a Diploma from a recognised board/ university/ institute can also apply.
